Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba Manga 1

Kimetsu No Yaiba Demon Slayer is definitely one of the best animes to exist in my opinion. It is pretty well known to people who watch anime a lot. There are many seasons to this anime and even has a couple movies, but today I just want to focus on the first manga. I watched the first season of demon slayer before I read the first manga and let me tell you I think it’s better to read the manga than the actual show, the reason is because the manga and the show are pretty much the same in the dialogue, scenes, and much more, so if you read the manga first you would get to compare better with the series actually having movement and not just looking at pictures and words. (Trust me it's better).
This manga definitely had me attached to it when I read the first chapter. The story starts off with a teenage boy named Tanjiro Kamado, he lives with his mother and many siblings all in a small house in a small village. Tanjiro leaves his house to sell some coal when he returns, he sees that his family has be brutally slaughtered by some demons and the only surviving is his little sister, Nezuko. The only way for Nezuko to not die is to turn into a demon herself. Tanjiro commits to going on a journey with his sister to become a demon slayer and seek for the demon that killed their family. Now that’s just the summary for the first manga. In my opinion the first manga seems more like an introduction than the start of his journey, when Tanjiro wants to become a demon slayer, he must be trained first but when he starts to kill demons that's in the second, third, and later Mangas. Half of this first manga is about Tanjiro being trained to become a demon slayer; I don’t blame the author for doing that though because the training process took about a year.
The characters in this manga series and anime are really good. Not all four main characters get introduced in the first manga, but we do get some appearances. Tanjiro and his little sister Nezuko are the main characters but around the end of the book, when Tanjiro is at the final selection for becoming a demon slayer, we do get a small appearance of one of the main characters, Zenitsu Agatsuma. I wouldn’t be surprised if people hated him when they first saw him. Zenitsu was super anxious and talked a lot so I think people would find him annoying if he was an actual person. (Don’t worry he gets better in the later Mangas). This anime is a shonen manga and contains fantasy in it but I think the characters are what make the anime really funny. Of course, the animation is too but also the characters are pretty hilarious in situations like becoming a demon slayer and training. I love the way the creators created Tanjiro, his personality is the best. I love how he is always determined to do anything and will fight for whatever is right. His love for Nezuko is so strong as you watch and read the story. It’s just good to see someone in the story to have such a brave and loving soul even though that someone has been through some hard stuff. This anime overall is amazing. Not only do I love the characters, but I love the plot of the whole story. I hope this anime continues, and I hope Tanjiro will achieve what he deserves in the end.
